WHO WE ARE
We are a company dedicated to the sales, planning and installation of natural stones and porcelains in their different modalities, from tiles and special pieces used in floors and wall veneer for any type of construction work, regardless of its degree of complexity.
We are at the forefront of knowledge of new materials in the market, as well as employing latest and safest installation techniques and materials.
Since our kickoff intervention in the project until the formal delivery of the same, Atlantic Stone has the goal of serving our clients with excellence.
We have trained personnel, guaranteeing a first-rate service that ensures the completion and delivery of projects with an international quality standard.

OUR STORY
Since its foundation, Atlantic Stone Contractors, LLC formerly known as Continental Marble & Stone, was founded with a fundamental objective which was to collaborate in satisfy the demand for materials and installation of natural stones and porcelains for small and large projects in Puerto Rico.
Its president and founder, Mr. Jorge Nuñez, Architect by profession, has 30 years of experience in the work of the natural stone industry. Mr. Nuñez has executed large-scale projects such as homes, hotels, public squares, commercial buildings, offices and institutional projects.
Due to his knowledge in Architecture and his vast experience in the field of natural stones, Mr. Nuñez has been able to advise and interact with contractors, engineers, architects, designers and clients in general, assisting them in providing knowledge of the product we sell and install according to the standards established in this industry.

Jorge L. Nuñez, President
Graduated from the School of Architecture of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Subsequently, he obtained a master's degree in Architecture with a concentration in Projects Administration from the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico City.
Since 1991, he has been involved in the natural stone industry and its installation in projects of all kinds. In 2003 he founded the company Continental Marble & Stone and more recently he founded the company Atlantic Stone Contractors, both dedicated to the sale, planning and installation of all types of natural stones and porcelain tiles to be used in construction projects. In his 30 years of experience dedicated to this business, he has participated in a large number of projects throughout Puerto Rico, taking responsibility for directing the installation of more than 2.5 million square feet of natural stones and porcelain tiles in very important projects in Puerto Rico.
In the academic area, he has been a professor of Postgraduate study at Universities of the Dominican Republic

Germaine Matos, Vice-President
Graduated from the School of Architecture of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, she later obtained a master's degree in Architecture with a concentration in Architectural Design at the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico City.
From 1987 to 1991 she worked on the design of various private housing projects in the Dominican Republic. She held the position of Coordinator of the architecture career at the Iberoamerican University (UNIBE) where she also taught. She was also a professor at the School of Architecture of the Pedro Henriquez Ureña National University (UNPHU) in the Dominican Republic.
In 2003, she joined in the founding of Continental Marble & Stone, Corp. and later the company Atlantic Stone Contractors, LLC.
